Supporting a healthy and safe watershed environment through research, education and outreach

RCEQM conducts research and education on the management, prediction and monitoring of environmental quality, mainly in the Lake Biwa–Yodo River basin.

01 / OUTLINE

Outline

Responding to growing social needs for a healthy, cultured and comfortable environment, the Center extends its research targets from individual pollution sources to entire river and lake basins, applying systems engineering approaches of management, prediction and monitoring across space and time. (Draft — to be reviewed)
