01 / OUTLINE
Responding to growing social needs for a healthy, cultured and comfortable environment, the Center extends its research targets from individual pollution sources to entire river and lake basins, applying systems engineering approaches of management, prediction and monitoring across space and time. (Draft — to be reviewed)
02 / RESEARCH FIELDS
Natural organic matter, chemical toxicity, lake basin management and toxicity testing — from basin scale to molecular scale.
Fate of pollutants, effects on human health and aquatic ecosystems, water reuse, pathogenic microorganisms and chemical management.
Impact assessment, risk management, monitoring technologies for regional environmental problems, international collaboration.
03 / ACTIVITIES
Domestic and international research, and innovation through collaboration with society.
